A Tiny Thumbprint

It was not always so--the greedy and powerful stomp on those who love a simple life--Isaiah 24:5 speaks thus to me:"The earth lies defiled under it's inhabitants;for they have transgressed the laws,violated the statutes,broken the everlasting covenant."Observe,human sin defiles the world in God's eyes--He has spoken in Number's 35:34 "You shall not defile the land in which you live,in the midst of which I dwell...."

We are guests in God's land--His creation was perfect--Adam had not sinned but Adam made a wretched choice--Isaiah again--35:6 "Therefore a curse devours the earth,and it's inhabitants suffer for their guilt--"

We tell our children-"I have just moped the kitchen floor-leave your muddy shoes outside the door."-but soon,muddy shoes come in and defile the clean floor-a transgression of mothers rule.
